Icelandic Winter Landscape Postcards

One year my youngest sibling and I decided to celebrate our January birthdays by taking advantage of a great 5 day vacation package to Iceland. We were to living in Boston, MA at the time, so going to Iceland wasn’t a big deal weather wise AND it was a fabulous trip.

We paid for an 8 hour Golden Circle bus tour on a small 15 passenger van. Our driver was fantastic. She was knowledgeable, told the best jokes and was familiar with driving in off and on heavy snow conditions. Thankfully, I was able to photograph lots of scenic Icelandic Winter Landscape images to create this wonderfully moody yet serene photo collage.

I continue to be amazed at how much I loved my winter and summer trips to Iceland.

Iceland is such a magical place and in January 2015 my brother and I took advantage of a special 5 days air/hotel pkg, to celebrate our birthdays. This breathtaking waterfall — on the Golden Circle route—created a lifetime memory. It was a wonderful experience! #Iceland #travel #video
