Travel Tuesday – Boston to Bermuda Family Cruise
Due to complicated medical issues spending time with my oldest son and his family without flying or driving was important. Our family cruise vacation on Norwegian Gem was the perfect answer. We drove 15 minutes to the cruise parking lot and paid the parking fee. I took photos of the car – just in case.
Happily for me and the youngsters, it was just a quick five minute walk from the car to the terminal.
Our luggage tags were checked by the staff, loaded onto carts, scanned and brought to our cabins. Inside the terminal building, riding up the escalator we joined several hundred cruisers. Our Norwegian cruise rep was quite nice. She efficiently handled all the paperwork and handed the five of us our keycards. Now, I was excited!
We eagerly posed for our photo and headed up the gangway to board the ship where lunch awaited us.
Above is me on the top deck, enjoying the wonderful ocean breezes in a pretty pink summer dress. The beautiful pink hibiscus flower will always remind me of my Bermuda cruises. Several gift items. My online shop featuring this vibrant pink flower.
Pretty floral photography easily inspired my gift products. Popular items are all occasion note cards, magnets and even shower curtains. It’s a marvelous life combining travel with art.
