Mardi Gras Face Masks Art

It’s been the dream of my youngest daughter to attend a Mardi Gras event for her birthday. We’ve booked a round trip February 2025 cruise, to celebrate her 40th birthday, out of New Orleans. It will be a first visit to New Orleans and we’re planning to stay in New Orleans a few extra days after the cruise.

I have very long dreadlocks and typically have my hair totally wrapped up. I added elastic through the loops to slip it over the back of my head and not behind my ears which was uncomfortable. I added black elastic to black loops and white elastic if the loops were white.

Many of the solid color face masks in the collection were created to match my outfits. Included are face shield designs that I wrote about in another blog post. 🙂
